Kinesiology - the study of movement
The literal translation of kinesiology means: the study of movement. “Kinesis” comes from the Greek and means movement, “logos” is the principle. Kinesiology has its origins in the USA. In the 1960s, chiropractor George Joseph Goodheart observed close connections between the way muscles work and the condition of certain organ functions. He discovered that he could reduce muscle strength by touching areas of the body that were not fully functional at that time.
Based on these observations, Goodheart developed a diagnosis and therapy system that incorporates elements of chiropractic and osteopathy as well as the Meridian System (energy pathways) in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Since then, kinesiology has been complemented by the over 5,000-year-old Indian teachings of the chakras. Modern findings from Western medicine, such as findings from brain research, are also applied in today's practice of kinesiology.
As a recognized method of complementary therapy, kinesiology is based on a health-promoting and holistic approach. The therapeutic focus is not only on symptoms, but on the individual as a unit. Kinesiology also uses unconscious as well as conscious connections and interactions between body and mind. Back pain, for example, may have other causes than muscle tension. The treatment focuses on harmonizing the flow of energy in the body. A healthy flow of energy in the body also strengthens our mental performance - after all, thinking requires a lot of energy. In this way, kinesiology helps people to improve their physical and mental well-being, strengthen their mental and physical abilities and recover holistically.
Treatment benefits
Kinesiology is used for preventative purposes or for existing symptoms. It is suitable for people of all ages.
Customized
Talking serves as a door opener at the beginning. You can clarify what is on your mind at the moment and what your personal goal is. You choose the right path for you, one that takes you from where you are to where you want to be.
Suitable
The treatment allows you to make connections between your current situation, your symptoms and your thoughts, feelings and actions. We look for simple and quickly available sources of strength and energy that will help you to achieve your therapy goal independently and efficiently.
Noticeable
By balancing energies, we strengthen the self-regulating power of your body and mind. This transformation can be felt physically. Under gentle guidance, you can consciously perceive how your body becomes stronger and how your condition improves noticeably by using the energy sources you have found.
Sustainable
Our aim in the therapy process is to allow you to apply and implement the experiences from the treatment in your everyday life. Experiencing the possible change with the help of a before-and-after experience motivates you to observe your body better in everyday situations and pay attention to its signals in future.
Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen.

Let's get moving !
Martin Walser wrote: the path slips under the feet of the one who walks.
This simple sentence conveys a profound truth: in order to stay on the path, we have to constantly realign ourselves and our feet. This is not easy, but with a little practice it will become easier and easier.
